bouquet colour lovin!

It’s a bit dark and miserable outside so thought I would share with you a bit of flower inspiration to brighten your day! First up is a colourful explosion of some of the most beautiful bouquets I have ever seen. I really love bright bouquets and these beauties tick all the boxes, the texture, colour and mixture of blooms are to die for. Although I decided upon a more muted earthy palette of whites and greens for our wedding, if I could do it all again I’d be very tempted to do the complete opposite and go colour crazy. This bold palette would work really well with an outdoor marquee wedding as you could really go to town on the decorations and help to make a large white space more cozy and intimate.

If you are looking for a florist near West Yorkshire then you must take a look at Real Country Flowers. They produce beautiful, seasonal British blooms all organically home-grown on their own land. Every bouquet is completely unique and I love the rustic charm of natural hand-picked blooms – no chemicals or air miles! English country blooms at their best!

ENGLISH COUNTRY GARDEN

Up next are a selection of bouquets for all those brides planning a true English country garden wedding. Pretty, romantic and whimsical these soft, delicate hand-picked flowers are truly beautiful. Mix old country style roses and peonies with scabiosa, daisies, astillbie, lavender, queen annes lace, seed heads and sea holly. I love the contrast between the incredibly soft and blowsy peonies and the prickly sea holly and thistles.

If you are after a very British country garden bouquet look no further than The Real Cut Flower Garden in Herefordshire or The Garden Gate Flower Company based in Cornwall. Both offer bespoke, gorgeous home-grown blooms perfectly reflecting the season of your wedding, whatever it maybe.

Hope this has driven away some of those January blues… bring on Spring, I’m ready!
